Japan should be in your bucket list

Image
If Japan is indeed part of your 'must visit' list, then good for you! My husband and I travel internationally at least twice a year and Japan was in our to dos. We travelled on January 1st which was perfect since winter just started and I really enjoyed the cold weather plus the intermittent snowfall 😊 Few tips: JR Pass is good if you are traveling to different cities. Other than main lines, there are few subways where you can use JR pass (go to google maps and type to and from location). Note that JR bus in Tokyo going to Narita isn't included in the pass. It will cost you about 1000 Jpy from tokyo main station bus terminal. Don't forget to reserve as well your seats if you are traveling to another city. Sim card- Buy a sim card. Internet was our best friend when we were there. You need to search and use maps most of the time. Hotel near subways- always check if it's few steps from the train station. We booked APA in Osaka as well as in Ginza-Tokyo...

Expensive Skin Care Products- Just my opinion

Image
I hate wearing make up. It's too much effort and once it's wiped out, I still see all the imperfections that I try to hide. So I started investing on skin care. I thought that Koreans have really good skin and it is not about being white. They're just flawless and even if they are on make-up, you can still see the glow of their skin. That's why I bought products from Etude House- Facial wash, toner, moisturizer, eye balm and lotion. They are actually good but that's when my addiction started. Etude- Well, the store has products that are good for daily maintenance. It's expensive compared to what I've been using for years but it helped my dry skin (all these cost about 100 USD including the facial wash which was not captured in the photo) AQUA Mineral- Their Body Scrub which they advertised as "from the dead sea" as well as most of their products, are actually good. I also loved their lotion and Nail kit (Above photos).  If you are at ...

ECTOPIC PREGNANCY AND THE PAIN THAT COMES AFTER

Some online forums suggest that writing helps with the emotional pain so here I am, back in blogging. August 25- On this day, I took a blood test to confirm what I already knew for a week and yes.. it was a positive result. My husband and I have been trying to conceive although when we found out, I joked about him, wanting me to get pregnant more than I do. 2 weeks back, I felt that maybe I felt pressured and started to question whether I really wanted a baby.  Couple of days passed by and I felt that my husband was so happy about the news. We told all the important people in our lives and as expected, they were so excited for us. That made me feel excited and started to embrace the fact that I am actually ready to be a mother. We got vitamins, milk and I even started packing the beauty products that I thought wouldn't be safe during pregnancy. August 30- I started to feel some pain in my lower abdomen and saw some blood on my underwear. I was worried but didn't pan...

I saw him again

I was in a hurry.. I'd like to skip the guards but unfortunately it was impossible.. while waiting on the line I saw a familiar face.. he was staring at me, I had to put my eyeglasses to make sure. My heart beat so fast.. and it was him.. I did not care about the line.. the work.. I ran and hugged him.. I was in tears while asking "why are you here" and he replied "because you asked me to be here" and so I did'nt go to work.. we went to this paradise.. far from the city.. we were walking and I asked him again "why are you here.. seriously" and he said " I heard you.. you wanted to see me" I stared at him.. he got few lines on his face.. his hair was different but it was him.. he smiled at me and asked why I wanted to see him.. I was not prepared for the answer.. there was a moment of silence.. I kept on asking at the back of my head what I wanted from this guy.. but I can't remember.. so he laughed and said... "when you wake up.....
